Teak, Red Walnut, Cedar, Pinus Sylvester, Merbau and Kapur are all good and don't require a finish but for the toughness required of a park bench, Teak probably the best bang for the buck. Pinus Sylvester, Cedar and Red Walnut are likely to be too soft to last or look good over time.
