Material & Construction: Arlau bike stands are made from stainless steel, specifically a sturdy 60mm diameter tube with a 2.5mm wall thickness. This material choice ensures durability and allows for easy recycling at the end of the stand’s life.
Dimensions & Height: The stand is set to 650 to 750mm above the ground (300mm if root-fixed), which helps accommodate different installation environments and individual needs.
Finish: A fine satin polish enhances the product’s appearance and corrosion resistance.
Mounting: A variety of mounting options are available, including surface-mount bolt-on or a root-fix version, the latter of which is suitable for embedding into concrete to provide a more stable foundation. There is also the option of adding a crossbar (threaded tube) for added functionality and stability.
Stainless steel grades: Two stainless steel grades are available – 304 or 316. 304 grade stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for most environments; while 316 grade contains molybdenum to further enhance corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for use in marine environments or other highly corrosive environments.
